PLEASE HELP ME GOOGLE IS USELESS!!! There was a horror movie I watched sometime around 2015-2016. it was the first scary movie I had ever watched and I don't remember much, but it had something to do with a generational curse that makes their kids drown or die,
the main character has a typewriter and was writing a book I think, there was a claw bathtub that a girl almost drowns in, it definitely had something to do with a bag of lye, there was a ghost(s?), and I think a lady possessed a tree and became a tree monster.
